The twins first encountered graffiti as teenagers. They were interested in skateboarding and tagging until they finally picked up a spray can. Back then, they made a name for themselves by spraying trains together. Today, the reduced palette and complex structure of their works are fascinating: just as the viewer seemingly grasps the magnitude of the work, the stories within the painting immerse them once again in the artwork. The enormous scale of their work is a homage to graffiti art, which continually poses new challenges.
