Claudia SIX
In a small Austrian town, surrounded by forests and mountains, Claudia SIX grew up as the only child in the neighborhood.
Her companions were the unseen and the unusual — frogs glinting in the undergrowth, whispers in the cellar, the quiet strangeness of things not easily named.
Since then, Claudia SIX has been building spaces where the invisible becomes visible.
Worlds where creatures, stories, and hidden places slip through — and where you are always welcome to visit, to linger, to belong.
Through sculpture, performance, installation, and drawing, I give form to what lives between dream and waking life — offering glimpses into the worlds just beyond our own.
About the art
Escapism is art. Hiding places are protection. And creatures born of darkness can offer light.
Claudia Six creates a personal mythology through puppetry, drawing, installation, and performance. Her work draws from dream fragments, fading feelings, and long-forgotten companions; shaping a second world woven from memory, longing, and psychological depth.
These creatures and spaces emerge from elusive emotional textures: joy and insecurity, safety and solitude, tenderness and fear. In her hands, these inner states become visible, through symbolic rituals, tactile forms, and small acts of rebellion. The result is a layered visual language where the invisible finds shape, and the subconscious begins to speak.
